About the Attorney

Success is built on tenacity, shrewd thinking, and masterful strategizing.
A family law attorney’s most important role in the life of a client is to be a dedicated guide, assisting the client in navigating through a fog of unfamiliar concepts, confusing rules, complicated relationships, and often intimidating actions of the other party. Certainly, the attorney must be part of the solution to preserve relationships and hard-earned savings for a healthy future for the client, the family unit and, above all, the children.

In accordance with those principles, I represent clients in family and matrimonial matters including mediation, divorce, custody, relocation, child support, alimony, college contribution, equitable distribution, post-judgment applications, enforcement applications, prenuptial agreements, and other related issues. My practice is devoted exclusively to matrimonial and family law, and I am a Qualified Family Part Mediator under Rule 1:40-12.
As a Court-approved family law mediator, I focus on building rather than unraveling, on healing rather than exacerbating, and on preserving rather than destroying.
A former law clerk to the Honorable Fred H. Kumpf (Recall J.S.C.), I also worked for the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. Before dedicating my practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law, I was a litigation attorney at a respected New Jersey general practice law firm.

Prior to law school, I attended the University of Rochester graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and French. I spent my college years studying global challenges and various philosophies, analytical approaches and conflict-resolution techniques to address those challenges. I also indulged in my love for French literature, which organically resulted in my earning another degree.

My work as a family law attorney has been recognized by Avvo, an independent legal organization. The profile, references, peer endorsements, client testimonials, and additional background information can be viewed on the Avvo page.
