A former law clerk to the Honorable Fred H. Kumpf (Recall J.S.C.), Margarita previously worked for the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. Before dedicating her practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law, she was a litigation attorney at a respected New Jersey general practice law firm.
Margarita attended the University of Rochester and graduated
cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and French Literature. She spent her college years studying global challenges and various philosophies, analytical approaches and conflict-resolution techniques to address those challenges. She also indulged in her love for French literature, which organically resulted in her earning another degree.
Margarita's work as a family law attorney has been recognized by Avvo, an independent legal organization. The profile, references, peer endorsements, client testimonials, and additional background information can be viewed on the
Avvo page.
